JavaScript Step by Step (Step By Step (Microsoft)) ReviewThis book is a good beginner level Java Script text. It covers all the basics rather well and comes with a nice disc full of example files. However there is very little coverage on DOM implementation. For me it seems almost pointless to use Java Script without the DOM. If you are looking to actually implement Java Script with lots of form access and manipulation, then this is not a good book to get.
